My name is Dave Perris and I run Cherry Woodwork. I’m a tradesman with many years experience in all aspects of carpentry and joinery. I’ve been making fitted wardrobes, built in cupboards, storage units and more in Brighton and Hove since I moved here about fifteen years ago. I’m happily established here now and have regular clients that I’m always pleased to hear from.

Every job is a bit different, so I give quotes for any custom made woodwork. I’ll give you a complete breakdown of costs and let you know if there are any unpredictable snags that I might hit (e.g. fixings to the infamous Brighton Bungaroosh walls). If you have a selection of smaller bits and pieces that you’d like sorted out I can work on a day rate.

I try to cause minimum disruption when I’m working in people’s houses and make sure everything is cleaned up properly, at the end of each day and at the end of the job. I do own a hoover and I make sure I bring it with me.

David fitted shelves within an alcove in our Victorian property and had to contend with bungaroosh in the walls (making it very difficult to find a safe spot to fix the shelves to the wall) but he tackled it with ease.
